Trails, teams, and the things that keep me out of the office.
40+ mountain tops across the island so far. I love just as much time on the coast, snorkelling reefs, island hopping and camping wherever the trail runs out. Abseiling down waterfalls, white water rafting, canyoning and caving have all worked their way into the routine. The people are as much of the draw as the terrain: every region has its own culture,, and the parts of a journey worth retelling are usually the ones nobody planned.
I served as President of the Old Royalists Engineering Professionals' Association Student Chapter through 2024–25, an organisation of 250+ members, which taught me more about governance, finance and resolving conflict than any module could. Before that I ran the International Services Avenue at the Rotaract Club of University of Moratuwa collaborations across several countries, a Model UN conference (SLRMUN), and a free IT education platform for underprivileged children in Africa that took Gold for Most Innovative Initiative in 2023.
